Alessandro is awarded a UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship
Alessandro has been awarded a UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship to develop quantum technology in silicon carbide. Project QELTIC will kick off in February 2021 and will aim to develop full electrical control of single spins and single photons in this semiconductor. The award will provide support for 4 years towards capital equipment, consumables and staff costs for approximately £1.2m.
The project will be supported by NPL, Hitachi and BT contributing as industry partners.
