Our work characterising commercial SiC MOSFETs at deep-cryogenic temperatures

Our work characterising commercial SiC MOSFETs at deep-cryogenic temperatures is published in IOP: Materials for Quantum Technology!   Read our new paper characterising commercial SiC MOSFETs at deep-cryogenic temperatures. We study device reproducibility and variability from 300 K down to 650 mK, highlighting key low-temperature effects including threshold voltage shifts, gate hysteresis and degraded subthreshold […]

Our new preprint demonstrating radio-frequency reflectometry in silicon carbide large-area transistors is now available on arXiv!

Our new preprint demonstrating radio-frequency reflectometry in silicon carbide large-area transistors is now available on arXiv!   Read our new preprint on gate-based radio-frequency reflectometry in silicon carbide MOSFETs. We study RF readout in commercial SiC MOSFETs and explore how their device structure and low-temperature behaviour influence reflectometry performance. This work identifies key considerations for

Final Epic Meeting

EPIQC Final Meeting On Friday (16/01/26) the SEQUEL lab hosted the final progress review meeting of the EPSRC project EPIQC (Empowering Practical Interfacing of Quantum Computing). It has been a fanastic 4 year long collaboration with our colleagues in NPL, Glasgow Uni, NQCC and UCL. The great synergy between these groups led to excellent work

SQIP25

SEQUEL attend SQIP25 in Dublin Alessandro, Megan and Kris attended the Silicon Quantum Information Processing workshop (SQIP25) in Dublin on September 19th. The event attracted about 60 delegates from business and academia to discuss progress on scalability and manufacturing of spin qubits. Our colleagues from NPL were there too: Jon Fletcher, Jon Eastoe and Ateeq
